Gopalganj, October 18 (NEWS IN BIHAR). The police is fully alert regarding the assembly elections.

Police took major action in Kabilaspur village of Thawe police station area. Based on secret information, Thawe police station incharge and (First Police Team) raided the house of a person where about Rs 1 crore cash kept in boxes was recovered.

During the raid, the police also seized several bank passbooks and interrogation of several suspicious persons is going on. At present the amount recovered has not been counted. According to the police, investigation is being done to find out where such a huge amount of money came from and where it was being taken before the elections. The police headquarters has also started monitoring this entire matter.
