Nalanda, 23 October . This time the contest on Biharsharif assembly seat of Nalanda district in Bihar has become very interesting. While on one hand BJP MLA Dr. Sunil Kumar has years of influence, on the other hand there is a tussle within the Grand Alliance itself.

In the grand alliance, till now only RJD has been fielding candidates from this seat. But this time the equation has completely changed. CPI and Congress – both the parties have fielded different candidates.

CPI has made the leader of mass movements Shiv Kumar Yadav alias Sardar ji its candidate. Congress has given ticket to Omair Khan alias Tikka Khan of Gayaji. Both the candidates are calling themselves the real contenders of the Grand Alliance, due to which there is a situation of confusion and confusion in Bihar Sharif.

Since the day of nomination, rumors were being spread that CPI candidates would withdraw their nominations by October 20. But this did not happen. Sardar ji stood firm and gave a befitting reply to those spreading rumours. He said, “We have come to fight the public battle, we are not afraid of rumours. The people of Bihar Sharif are watching us, and will respond.

On Thursday, CPI candidate Shiv Kumar Yadav gave a big statement in a press conference at RJD’s district office in Biharsharif. Giving 24 hours time to the RJD leadership, he said – “The RJD top leadership should clarify who is the authorized candidate of the Grand Alliance. If the decision is not taken within 24 hours, then we will separate from the Congress and contest the elections alone on the ideology of the Grand Alliance. He further said – “Our direct contest is with BJP MLA Dr. Sunil Kumar. This time the red flag will definitely be hoisted in Bihar Sharif. When RJD District President Ashok Kumar Himanshu was asked about this entire controversy, he said, “Till now Tejashwi Yadav has not given any official instructions on Bihar Sharif seat. Hopefully a decision will be taken in a day or two and everything will become clear.

This time the contest on Biharsharif assembly seat seems to be three-way. On one side is BJP’s Dr. Sunil Kumar, on the other side the two allies of the Grand Alliance – Congress and CPI – have stood facing each other. Now everyone’s eyes are on Tejashwi Yadav’s decision. Will they be able to solve this dilemma, or will the battle of Bihar Sharif deepen the rift in the Grand Alliance?
