In the district, the work of decorating and beautifying the Chhath Ghat located at the city heritage Surya Temple on the main road of Raxaul city for the great festival Chhath is going on in the final stage. Giving this information, Sun Temple Committee Secretary Shambhu Prasad Chaurasia and media in-charge Rajneesh Priyadarshi jointly said that regarding Chhath, the great festival of public faith, the Sun Temple Committee has written to Municipal Council Raxaul and Repuraj Agro Pvt. Ltd. With the cooperation of Sun Temple, the work of cleaning and decorating the ghat and pond in the Sun Temple complex is in full swing.

Keeping the convenience and safety of Chhath fasts and devotees paramount, cleanliness and attractive floral decoration and electrical decoration work at the ghat is also in the final stages. A selfie point is also being constructed in the pandal to increase awareness among the people about cleanliness and next month’s Bihar Assembly elections 2025. Arrangements for help desk and miking are also being made. On this occasion, Raxaul Deputy Superintendent of Police Manish Kumar and Raxaul Police Station Chief took stock of the work of decorating and beautifying the Sun Temple Ghat by the committee and expressed satisfaction over the work done by the committee members.
