In the light of Bihar Assembly General Election – 2025, to maintain law and order, preventive action has been taken on 14,645 cases by the concerned Sub-Divisional Officer regarding peaceful, fair, clean and fear-free voting in the district.
Sub-Divisional Officer, Sasaram has so far issued notice to a total of 5,593 accused under Section 126 BNSS. Against the issued notice, notice has been served to 4787 accused and under 135 BNSS, bond has been filed with a total of 4,605 ??accused for maintaining peace and order. Action is being taken to serve notices to the remaining 806.
Till now, notices have been issued to a total of 5383 accused under Section 126 BNSS by Sub-Divisional Officer Dehri. Against the notice issued, notice has been served to 5310 accused and under 135 BNSS, bond has been filed with a total of 3612 accused to maintain peace. Action is being taken to serve notice to the remaining 73.
He told that
Till now, notices have been issued to a total of 3669 accused under Section 126 BNSS by the Sub-Divisional Officer, Bikramganj. Against the notice issued, notice has been served to 2726 accused and under 135 BNSS, bond has been filed with a total of 1828 accused to maintain peace. Action is being taken to serve notices to the remaining 943.
Under Section 135 BNSS, the concerned Sub-Divisional Officer determines the standard amount and gets the bond filled by the concerned accused to maintain peace.
In the light of Bihar Assembly General Election-2025, further action is being taken daily by the three sub-divisional officers of the district to maintain law and order for peaceful, fair, clean and fear-free voting in the district.
