Patna, 19 October (NEWS IN BIHAR). A total of 14 general observers, 1 police observer and 4 expenditure observers have been deputed in Patna district by the Election Commission of India for the successful conduct of Bihar Assembly Elections 2025.

Patna District Administration is fully committed to conduct elections in a free, fair, fear-free, transparent and participatory environment. In this sequence, a meeting was organized in Patna Collectorate on Sunday, in which all the observers reviewed the election preparations with the senior officials of the district.

In the meeting, the observers explained the intricacies of the guidelines of the Election Commission of India in detail and directed the officials to ensure their letter and spirit compliance. Observers particularly emphasized on adherence to the code of conduct, expenditure monitoring, security arrangements and vigilance on sensitive areas. He said that providing a fear-free and easy voting environment to the voters at every polling station should be the top priority of the administration.

District Election Officer-cum-District Magistrate, Patna, Senior Superintendent of Police, Patna and officials of the concerned election cells were present in the meeting.
