Dehri on Son, 20 October (NEWS IN BIHAR). An important meeting was organized on Monday in Rohtas district of Bihar to review the preparations for the upcoming Bihar Assembly General Election – 2025, in which general observers from all the seven assembly constituencies were present.

District Election Officer cum District Magistrate Udita Singh said that Superintendent of Police Rohtas, all the nodal officers and cell in-charge officers were present in the meeting. He said that in the meeting, a detailed review of the election preparations was done by the observers and necessary instructions were given on various points. The observers took information about the ongoing voter awareness activities in the district and directed to adopt effective strategies to ensure maximum voter participation.

He said that identification of sensitive and hypersensitive polling stations and law and order situation were discussed in detail.

Updated information was obtained from the concerned cells by reviewing the progress of the SIR report. He said that after reviewing the status of the training programme, instructions were given to ensure that all the polling personnel receive timely and quality training. Instructions were given to maintain activeness at the check posts and ensure continuous patrolling. The expenditure observer reviewed the system of monitoring the expenditure of the candidates, suspicion-based investigation, and daily reporting.

Observers in the meeting said that as per the instructions of the Election Commission, ensuring peaceful, fair and transparent elections in the district is the top priority.

He directed all the officers that there should not be any laxity in following the code of conduct and transparency and sensitivity should be maintained in every activity.
