The district police has announced a reward of Rs 2 lakh 10 thousand against 10 criminals who are absconding in various cases registered in different police stations of the district. This information has been given by SP Swarn Prabhat.

He told that near Kadam Chowk of Kotwa police station area, the criminals of diesel theft gang had shot dead the hotel operator for protesting against diesel theft. A reward of Rs 10,000 each has been announced against the four accused in this case. Which includes Chandan Giri of Pakdi Barsaat village of Muzaffarpur Sahibganj, Dheeraj Kumar of Sahibganj Semra, Chandan Kumar of Sahibganj Madhopur Hazari village and the most wanted Vikas Rai alias Pakori of Bangra village of Sahibganj police station area. Apart from this, a reward of Rs 50 has been announced against Shakti Kapoor of Sarlahi, Nepal, a wanted accused of robbery. A case is registered against him in Bhelahi police station.

A reward of Rs 50,000 has been announced against Sohail Khan of Raxaul Nauka Tola. A case of gang rape has been registered in Raxaul police station itself. A reward of Rs 25 thousand has been announced against Chhotu Rana alias Pratap Rana of Areraj for extortion. A reward of Rs 20 thousand has been announced against Sanaur Khan of Harsiddhi. At the same time, a reward of Rs 15 thousand has been announced against Dilranjan Dubey alias Teegan Dubey of Phulwar village of Banjariya police station, who is absconding in the case of murder of Zilla Parishad member Suresh Yadav at Chandmari Chowk. A reward of Rs 10 thousand has been announced against criminal Enamul Ansari, who is absconding in a case of Raxaul. He is included in the most wanted list of the police for various types of crimes.
