Bhagalpur, 20 October (NEWS IN BIHAR). Bharatiya Janata Party’s tussle over contesting elections from Bhagalpur Assembly seems to be ending now. Rohit Pandey has been given the responsibility to contest elections from Bhagalpur assembly constituency. Regarding this, voices of protest started being raised in the BJP camp itself.

BJP leaders Dr. Preeti Shekhar, Dr. Arjit Choubey, Manish Das and many other BJP workers, who were hoping for a ticket, had taken a rebellious attitude. All of them had made up their mind to field themselves as independent candidates. Due to which Rohit Pandey’s problems had increased a lot. However, after pressure and assurance from the central leadership, many other BJP workers including Dr. Preeti Shekhar have decided not to contest the elections. After this decision, a wave of happiness is being seen in the NDA camp including BJP.

After meeting the top leadership of BJP, state media panelist Preeti Shekhar has decided not to contest the elections. He has said that he will support BJP candidate Rohit Pandey and other NDA candidates.

After the assurance from the top leadership of BJP, Preeti Shekhar talked to her workers and well-wishers and after that announced not to contest the elections.

Preeti Shekhar told that the top leadership considers her a good worker. It has also been assured that the party will continue to think about him in future. After Preeti Shekhar’s decision not to contest the elections, BJP candidate Rohit Pandey reached her house and met her. The BJP candidate said that everyone has aspirations to contest elections. There is disappointment when one does not get the ticket, but after that everyone works together.

Arjit Shashwat Chaubey said that he was called by his father Ashwini Chaubey, who said that you are in BJP and will remain in BJP only. Respecting his father’s orders, he decided not to file independent nomination and remain in BJP.

He said that he has taken this decision keeping in mind the honor and respect of the party and family. Arjit said that I respected the heritage and followed the orders of father Ashwini Choubey.
