
Katihar, 18 October (NEWS IN BIHAR). Railway Protection Force Inspector General (IG cum PCSC) Paramshiv Kumar inspected Katihar Railway Station on Saturday. During this, he took detailed stock of the luggage scanner, rail circulating area, RPF post, passenger facilities and security arrangements installed at Katihar station.
Before the inspection, IG Paramshiv Kumar also addressed the RPF security conference at the Railway Officers Club. Where he talked to RPF officers and soldiers and while giving instructions to further strengthen the security system, he stressed on giving top priority to the safety and convenience of the passengers.
IG Paramshiv Kumar also reviewed the cleanliness of Katihar Railway Station premises, CCTV cameras, patrolling arrangements on the platform and monitoring of sensitive areas. He directed the officers to carry out regular train patrolling and keep a close watch on suspicious persons.
IG Paramshiv Kumar appreciated the efforts being made by RPF for the safety of passengers and described the work of the team under the leadership of Katihar RPF Commandant as praiseworthy. He also gave instructions to further strengthen the security system and take effective steps for the convenience of the passengers.
Katihar Railway Division’s RPF Commandant Sandeep Kumar PS was present along with his RPF team during the inspection.
