East Champaran, 24 October . District Election Officer cum District Magistrate East Champaran on Friday successfully conducted the second randomization of polling personnel to be deputed for polling work in the NIC room located at the Collectorate in the presence of General Observers appointed by the Election Commission of India, New Delhi.

On this occasion, the District Election Officer cum District Magistrate said that the second randomization of a total of 18168 polling personnel has been done for a total of 4095 polling stations in the district, who will be put on duty at the polling stations. In the randomization, polling personnel have been deputed assembly wise for all the 12 assemblies of the district.

The District Magistrate informed that 1460 for Raxaul Assembly Constituency, 1488 for Sugauli Assembly Constituency, 1584 for Narkatia Assembly Constituency, 1384 for Harsiddhi Assembly Constituency, 1412 for Govindganj Assembly Constituency, 1364 for Kesariya Assembly Constituency, 1324 for Kalyanpur Assembly Constituency, 1868 for Pipra Assembly Constituency, 1868 for Madhuban Assembly Constituency. 1388, for Motihari Assembly Constituency 1628, Chiraiya Assembly Constituency 1584 polling personnel have been appointed for the region and 1688 polling personnel have been appointed for the Dhaka assembly constituency.

On the occasion of randomization, the District Magistrate told the observers that out of 4095 polling centers in the district, 132 polling centers will be operated only by women, a total of 12 polling centers including one in each assembly will be operated only by youth workers and 12 polling centers will be operated by disabled personnel. Thus, a total of 156 special polling stations will be created in the district. Apart from this, 1281 such polling stations have been marked as mixed where two polling personnel will be male and two polling personnel will be female. Electoral officers of all the assemblies of the district were also present at the time of randomization.
