Nalanda, Bihar Sharif, October 24 . The second randomization work of EVMs for the Bihar Assembly General Election, 2025 was successfully completed today on Friday in the District Headquarters Collectorate Auditorium under the chairmanship of the District Officer-cum-District Election Officer. The ‘second randomization’ of EVMs is done by the returning officer in the presence of the candidates contesting the elections of the concerned assembly constituency and the observer deputed by the Election Commission of India.

In this process, after the first randomization, the EVMs provided assembly wise are randomly allotted ‘polling center wise’ and after the polling center allocation, the remaining EVMs and VVPATs are kept safe. The safe machines are used as the bad machines. The second randomization process is done through the portal of ‘Election Commission of India’.

In the order of Bihar Assembly General Election, 2025, ‘Second Randomization’ by the concerned returning officer for 171-Asthawah, 172- Bihar Sharif, 173- Rajgir (SC), 174- Islampur, 175-Hilsa, 176- Nalanda and 177- Harnaut under Nalanda district on 24.10.2025. It took place in the Hardev Bhawan auditorium located at Nalanda Collectorate. During this time, the contesting candidates/their representatives and observers should be present. After the second randomization was completed, the list of allotted EVMs polling station wise and the list of reserved EVMs were shared with all the contesting candidates. These EVMs will be used at the respective polling stations on ‘Polling Day’.
