Katihar, 27 October . Kodha police station of the district conducted a raid on the basis of secret information and arrested six members of the gambling gang. Police have seized Rs 8,150, 1 deck of cards, 142 pieces of cards and 7 mobile phones from the gang.

Among the arrested accused, Manish Kumar (22 years) father Pawan Kumar Gupta resident of Kodha Hospital, Vicky Kumar (19 years) father Laxman Charasia resident of Kodha Ward No. 10, Rahul Kumar Gupta (34 years) father Subodh Prasad Gupta resident of Kodha Ward No. 11, Mohd. Manir Alam (41 years) Father Late. Hazrat Ali resident of Baura, Choro police station Kodha district Katihar, Raju Kumar (22 years) father Pawan Poddar resident of Selapur ward no. 09, police station Parvatta, district Khagaria and Riti Sahni (37 years) father Buni Sahni resident of Antor police station Behara district Darbhanga.

Police said that on the basis of secret information, a raid was conducted in the warehouse in front of Kodha petrol pump. A case has been registered against the said accused and further action is being taken.
