Amidst happiness and sorrow, social media platforms, especially Facebook, have become a medium for these leaders. Where people are expressing their individual expressions. Some are expressing gratitude and some are expressing injustice and loss of trust. Amidst all this, the discussion of ticket sale by the party’s high command and the head has also become a highlight of Facebook.
The former chief of Bhargama, who was leading in the race for BJP ticket from Narpatganj, posted a post talking about injustice being done to him and said that perhaps there was some shortcoming in getting the ticket and informed his supporters about his decision not to contest the election.
Hundreds of supporters of Vijay Kumar Yadav expressed their views regarding this post and gave various arguments. BJP has made Devyanti Yadav its candidate from Narpatganj. Devyanti Yadav is originally a resident of Jogbani and people are also giving their opinion on the Facebook post of ignoring the local and making an outsider the candidate.
Narpatganj assembly was in BJP’s account and had Jaiprakash Yadav as MLA, who has been deprived of the ticket by the party. However, despite being deprived of the ticket, he has expressed his gratitude towards the people and supporters of Narpatganj.
Pandit Ajay Kumar Jha, one of the prominent BJP leaders of Araria district, also wanted to try his luck in the election campaign this time. He was seeking a ticket from BJP in the election campaign from Forbesganj along with Narpatganj.
But the BJP high command removed him from both the assemblies along with Jokihat assembly constituency. He was continuously participating in NDA programs and was enthusiastically participating in all small and big programs along with MP Pradeep Kumar Singh. His supporters were hopeful that this time BJP will field Pandit Ajay Kumar Jha in the election campaign.
But the BJP high command denied him the ticket. After which he went live on Facebook on Wednesday night and expressed his pain. He expressed his displeasure over not getting the ticket despite repeated assurances by the state president and said that till the last moment, the party kept giving him assurance of making him the candidate from Jokihat.
But the Jokihat seat went to JDU and they were denied the ticket. However, at the last moment, in the hope of getting the ticket from Jokihat, JDU leader talked about the names of leaders like Sanjay Jha, Deveshchandra Thakur, but by then it was too late. Referring to his pain and feelings, Pandit Ajay Kumar Jha also became emotional at the last moment.
Similarly, Meraj Khan and Raja Raman Bhaskar alias Rantu Mandal, who switched sides from JDU and joined Jan Suraj, expressed their displeasure over making Haji Ikramul the candidate from Forbesganj on behalf of Jan Suraj and talked about making an outsider the candidate. In his post, while Meraj Khan accused Prashant Kishore of selling tickets by taking money, Raja Raman Bhaskar alias Rantu Mandal called Prashant Kishore a Paisa Kishore.
Young social worker Prabhat Yadav expressed his anguish on Facebook over the nomination of four-time BJP MLA Janardan Yadav, Jan Suraj’s candidate from Narpatganj, and announced his candidature as an independent candidate.
Party’s sub-divisional president Bhola Prasad Singh also expressed his anguish over Ragib Bablu being made the candidate from Sikti to Jan Suraj and announced his candidature as a rebel candidate on Facebook.
He accused the party’s Divisional President cum Araria District President Chandrashekhar Singh Baban of meeting the BJP and selling tickets by taking money.
Here the leaders who got tickets are BJP MLA from Sikti Vijay Kumar Mandal, BJP MLA from Forbesganj Vidyasagar Keshari, leader Devyanti Yadav who got BJP ticket from Narpatganj, Shagufta Azim who got JDU ticket from Araria, MLA Achmit Rishidev who got ticket from Raniganj (SC), Manjar Alam who got JDU ticket from Jokihat, Jan Suraj from Narpatganj. in the morning Wale Janardan Yadav etc. are continuously addressing the public through banners and posters on various social media platforms like Facebook, Instagram etc. while expressing their gratitude towards the party high command.
