
Chhapra, 30 September (NEWS IN BIHAR). As part of the intensive revision campaign of the electoral list, the District Officer published the final electoral list on Tuesday.
He informed that for the observation of the general public, the election list has been published at every polling station, Electoral Registration Officer, Assistant Electoral Registration Officer and District Election Office level. Also, it can be seen on the website of Chief Electoral Officer, Bihar.
The process of sustainable postponement will continue
District Magistrate Aman Sameer said that with the publication of the final voter list, the process of sustainable update has started. Under this, any qualified person can apply for adding names to the list, improvement or transfer of names included. This process will continue till ten days before the nomination under the general election. The common people were appealed to check their names in the final list and apply online through their BLO through their BLO or through the website of the Commission and Voter Help Line app.
Hard and soft copy of electoral list provided to political parties
The District Magistrate, along with the list publication, met with all the recognized national and state level political parties on Tuesday and made two copies of the electoral list and two copies of the soft copy.
He requested to ensure intense observation of the electoral list at the level of the assembly wise at his level and each polling station. So that no qualified voters are left out.
The meeting was attended by BSP’s Manoj Ram, BJP’s Vivek Kumar Singh and Umesh Tiwari, Rishikesh Tiwari of CPIM, Bachu Prasad Biru of Congress, Mo Feroz of JDU, Ravi Pratap Rathore of LJP, Dipankar Kumar Mishra of CPI ML, AAP’s Sumeshwar Singh alias Muni ji etc. were present.

For offline, polling station level officer (BLO) or in the Block Office can be contacted. Whereas online applications can be filed for online at https://voters.eci.gov.in/ or through ECINET mobile app. Also, the toll free number of voter help line can be contacted on 1950 for election information or suggestions.

The District Magistrate said that within a maximum of 48 hours after the release of the press note, political parties will have to remove banners, posters, hoardings, wall paintings, flag etc. from all private property within 72 hours. Referring to Bihar Sampathi deformation Prevention Act-1985 as amended 2010, he said that its violation is a cognizable offense. Its violation can cause six months imprisonment or a fine of one thousand. He said that from the announcement of the election to the end of the election process, the model code of conduct will be implemented in the light of the Directives of the Election Commission of India. During this time, permission will have to be obtained from the competent authority for public meeting, rally, procession, road-shows, vehicles etc. After receiving permission, loud speaker can be used only from 06:00 am to 10:00 pm. Apart from this, the electoral was also informed about the temptation, intimidation, objectionable speech etc.
He informed that the grounds have been identified with their capacity to organize a meeting in the district. The list of which has been made available to all political parties and candidates. Besides, a list of identified sites for landing of helicopter has also been made available.
