Katihar, 29 October . In view of Bihar Assembly elections 2025, a joint team of Railway Protection Force and NFCTO Patna is conducting a comprehensive checking and monitoring campaign on trains and stations.

In this special campaign, the team of RPF, GRP, station management and K-9 dog squad are keeping a close watch on suspicious activities in various trains, platforms and railway premises stopping at the stations of Katihar Railway Division. During the check, the luggage of the passengers was also thoroughly checked to prevent the movement of liquor, explosives or any prohibited item.

RPF officials said that this action is being taken with the aim of further strengthening the security arrangements of the Railways in view of the elections. He said that the safety of passengers is of paramount importance, and this surveillance operation will continue continuously to prevent any untoward incident during the elections.
