Abhishek had returned to duty three days ago after Dussehra leave. Dead body found near a petrol pump in Siliguri. Married only one and a half year ago.

East Champaran, 14 October (NEWS IN BIHAR). Abhishek Raj (32 years), son of SSB jawan Harishankar Jha, resident of Gaira village under Badharwa Kala East Panchayat of Kotwa police station area in the district, died in a suspicious accident in Siliguri. Abhishek was serving in SSB Sikkim 69 BM. It has been told that he had come home on leave before Dussehra and returned to duty on October 12.

The family members say that he had gone for duty completely healthy and in normal condition, but on the morning of October 14, they got information about Abhishek’s death. Abhishek’s body was found near a petrol pump located near Siliguri Junction. According to the information received from the villagers, on Monday his father had sent Rs 3,000 to the account of an auto driver for treatment. At the time of finding the body, Abhishek’s hands and legs were bandaged, due to which it is suspected that he had already suffered injuries or was released after some treatment.

However, the cause of his death is not clear. Abhishek was married just one and a half years ago in Semra village. They did not have any child. While the family is distressed by the news of the untimely death of their young son, there is a wave of mourning in the village. The family members are in bad condition and crying. The villagers have demanded a thorough investigation into the matter so that the truth can come out. It has been told that the matter is being investigated by the police there.
