SSP inspecting

Bhagalpur, October 15 (NEWS IN BIHAR). Amidst the implementation of the code of conduct regarding the Bihar Assembly elections and festivals like Diwali, Kali Puja and Chhath Mahaparva, conducting fair and impartial elections in a peaceful manner remains a challenge for the police and administration.

After the completion of all the above mentioned festivals in the Sultanganj Assembly of the district, voting is to be held on number 11 in the second phase. Regarding this, Senior Superintendent of Police Hriday Kant reached Sultanganj police station on Wednesday and made a surprise inspection and became aware of the working style of the police and its activities.

During the inspection, the police captain reviewed the law and order preparations regarding the puja and assembly elections and took information from police station incharge Mrityunjay Kumar. He also directed to keep an eye on anti-social elements and intensify patrolling to maintain peace in the area. During this time, apart from the Gunda register, he also inspected other registers in the police station.

The SSP directed police station incharge Mrityunjay Kumar to ensure attendance of the people included in the goonda register at the police station. In this sequence, SSP conducted surprise inspection of various police check posts of Sultanganj Assembly.

During the inspection, he took stock of the security arrangements and gave necessary instructions to the magistrate, police officials and personnel deployed at the check post.

During this, he said that my first priority will be to conduct the upcoming Bihar Assembly elections 2025 in a clean, fair, peaceful and fear-free environment.
