Samastipur, 24 October . A meeting of the District Level Standing Committee regarding the upcoming Bihar Assembly General Elections 2025 was held on Friday in the Collectorate Auditorium in the presence of all the general observers. The meeting was presided over by District Election Officer-cum-District Officer Roshan Kushwaha. In this, all the returning officers and deputy returning officers of the district were present. Representatives of all political parties were also present in the meeting, so that transparency and coordination could be ensured in the election process. The District Officer gave necessary instructions to the officers present in the meeting regarding preparations of polling stations, duty of staff, security arrangements and voter facilities.

Specifically, all returning officers were directed to maintain coordination with the General Observer, so that the process runs smoothly at each polling station and information about any irregularity reaches the district administration immediately.

Superintendent of Police Arvind Pratap Singh discussed the security matters in detail and directed the officials to remain alert and ensure complete security at the polling stations. It was also decided in the meeting that all the election officials should maintain coordination in their respective areas and provide every important information about the voting process to the representatives of political parties.

The District Election Officer said that this meeting is an important step towards ensuring complete transparency in the election process, participation of all parties and voter convenience. Through this, it will be ensured that the upcoming assembly elections in Samastipur are conducted in a peaceful, fair and orderly manner. At the conclusion of the meeting, the District Officer told all the officers and representatives that their role is important in conducting the election process timely and effectively. This will not only strengthen the process of democracy but will also ensure voter confidence and security.
