
Patna/Gaya ji, 29 October . Hum Secular candidate and senior party leader Dr. Anil Kumar, who came to campaign in Tikari assembly of the district in Bihar assembly elections, was attacked by anti-social elements today.
The villagers, along with Dr. Anil Kumar, who arrived late in the evening for election campaign in Dighora village of Konch police station area of ??the district, started questioning and answering on the topic of road construction, which later turned into a heated debate. In this sequence, the anti-social elements present in the crowd suddenly started pelting stones and firing at our candidate Anil Kumar and his supporters.
In this incident, there was no opportunity to control the candidate and his supporters. Dr. Anil Kumar was seriously injured in the incident. His hands and head were seriously injured. His car was also damaged. On receiving information about the incident, the police reached the village and tried to normalize the situation. The village has been converted into a cantonment by the police.
The police is searching for the people involved in this incident. At present, the police has brought our candidate Anil Kumar to Anugrah Narayan Magadh Medical College Hospital for treatment amid security arrangements.
In this regard, our candidate Dr. Anil Kumar said that he was out in the area during the election campaign. There was an altercation over some issue between the supporters and some people near Dighora village. Then he was attacked by some anti-social elements, due to which he suffered minor injuries on his head and hands. This information has been given to the police.
