The second phase of voting in Araria is on April 11. But the election colors have started in six assembly constituencies of the district. The first public meeting after the nomination was held by RJD on behalf of the Grand Alliance. Where Leader of Opposition Tejashwi Prasad on Monday appealed to vote for RJD candidate Shahnawaz Alam in Udahat Maidan of Jokihat and RJD candidate Manish Yadav in Narpatganj.
Along with the Leader of Opposition, VIP Supremo Mukesh Sahni, RJD National General Secretary Sukdev Paswan, Legislative Councilor Kari Saheb also addressed the meeting. Seeing the uncontrollable crowd of thousands in both the meetings, the leaders of the Grand Alliance looked overjoyed. The police had to work hard to control the huge crowd that had gathered in the grounds of Narpatganj High School.
RJD leader Tejashwi Prasad’s target was the Central and Bihar governments. Where he fiercely attacked the Bihar government as well as the Central government. Tejashwi Prasad said in his address that within twenty days of the formation of the government, he will make a law and in the family which does not have a single government job, one member of that family will be given a government job.
He said that Tejashwi Prasad does what he says and you have seen it during his 18-month rule. He said that during his 18-month rule, he gave jobs to five lakh people. He put three and a half lakh people through the process of getting the job. Got the status of government teacher to four and a half lakh employed teachers. He brought IT policy, worked on development policy. He said that he did what he said and what he said was also fulfilled under all circumstances. He accused the Bihar government of copying his schemes and said that Rs. 10,000 were given for employment, but what kind of employment is there for Rs. 10,000. This rupee has been given as a loan, which will be recovered by the bank.
He said that if the government is formed, under the Mai Bahin Scheme, it will provide Rs 2500 per month, Rs 30 thousand in a year and Rs 1.5 lakh in five years. Two hundred units of free electricity will be given.
In his address, Tejashwi Prasad said that there has been NDA government in the state for 20 years and at the Center for 11 years. If water gets stagnant for a long time, it also starts rotting and if the same brand of seed is sown in the field for 20 years, the field becomes barren and crops do not grow. While calling upon the people of Narpatganj, he said that NDA won in the MP and MLA elections, now rely on your brilliance and give victory to the RJD candidate of the Grand Alliance.
RJD leader Tejashwi Prasad talked about talking to Anil Yadav, who is contesting as an independent candidate in rebellion, and always respected him. He said that Anil Yadav had contested elections five times since 2005 and whenever called, he came to campaign. But this time the party started making changes and gave a chance to young Manish Yadav. While communicating directly with the public, he asked whether the newcomer should get a chance or not. He said that Tejashwi worked alone to fight everyone and is fighting even today. But was Anil Yadavji in the party only for the ticket? While leaving, he requested Anil Yadav to return to the party and support the party.
