
Patna, 26 October . In Bihar, Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader and Grand Alliance’s chief ministerial candidate Tejashwi Yadav is continuously reaching out to the public with new promises. On Sunday, he made many big announcements regarding Panchayat representatives.
While talking to journalists in Patna, Tejashwi Yadav said that if ‘INDIA Alliance’ government is formed in Bihar, then the allowance of elected representatives of Panchayati Raj system will be doubled. Besides, they will also be given insurance cover and pension facility of Rs 50 lakh.
Tejashwi Yadav said, we want to strengthen Panchayati Raj institutions, because the real strength of the villages lies in these representatives. Tejashwi said that relief will also be given to the dealers of the public distribution system. He said, we will increase the margin of dealers on the basis of money per quintal, so that they can serve the public properly without financial pressure.
Along with this, Tejashwi Yadav talked about giving interest-free loans of up to Rs 5 lakh to the communities involved in traditional professions like barbers, potters and carpenters if the grand alliance government is formed in the state. He said that small artisans and traditional professionals are the soul of Bihar, strengthening them economically will be our priority.
Even before this, Tejashwi Yadav had made many announcements regarding ‘Jeevika Didis’. He had said that to empower the women self-help groups of the state, schemes like interest-free loans, increase in minimum honorarium and ensuring permanent income source would be started. Tejashwi had also said on the issue of contract employees that if his government is formed, concrete steps will be taken towards making all the contract employees permanent and their services will be regularized and pay scale will be reviewed. —————
