Governor Arif Mohammad Khan and Chief Minister Nitish Kumar today duly inaugurated the Sri Ramlila Festival and Ravanavadh ceremony-2025 on the occasion of Vijayadashami, a festival of victory over evil at Patna’s Gandhi Maidan.
In this Ravana Dahan program organized by Sri Krishna Memorial Committee, Art Culture and Youth Department and Shri Shree Dussehra Committee Trust, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar was welcomed by the organizers by presenting a memento, organ and religious book. The Chief Minister gave a message to maintain peace and harmony in the state by blowing a balloon. After this, the Chief Minister performed the form of Shri Ram and Shri Lakshmana. After that, the effigy of Kumbhakaran, Meghnad and Ravana was burnt in turn.
Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary, Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Kumar Sinha, Water Resources Minister Vijay Kumar Chaudhary, Bihar State Citizen Council General Secretary Arvind Kumar, Chairman of Sri Dussehra Committee Trust, Kamal Nopani, Chairman Arun Kumar, Convenor Mukesh Nandan and members of Shree Shree Dussehra Committee and other dignitaries were present in the program.
