Gopalganj, 16 October (NEWS IN BIHAR). Under the Bihar Assembly General Election 2025, the nomination process is going on in all the assembly constituencies of the district.

A total of eight candidates filed nominations in the district on Thursday. Among these, 99-Kanhaiya Ram (Party – Democratic) filed his nomination from Baikunthpur assembly constituency. 100- Three candidates Rampravesh Singh (Independent), Krishna Shah (Independent) and Irsad Ali (Independent) filed nomination from Barauli Assembly Constituency.

Shashi Shekhar Singh (Jan Suraj Party) and Anas Salam (All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen) filed nomination papers from 101-Gopalganj assembly constituency. No candidate has filed nomination so far in 102-Kuchayakot and 103-Bhore assembly constituencies.

Apart from this, two candidates from 104-Hathua assembly constituency – Surendra Gupta (Independent) and Surendra Ram (Indian National Party) submitted their nominations.

According to the election office, the nomination process is going on peacefully. The administration has made special arrangements for monitoring and security at all RO offices so that no chaos occurs.
