Demonstration against the candidate involved in public relations campaign

Nalanda, October 24 . Political excitement has reached its peak with the first phase of assembly elections in Nalanda district.

Before the elections to be held on November 6, all the candidates and their supporters are going door-to-door and appealing for votes. But on Friday, two incidents have brought a big turn in the politics of Nalanda when the public opposed the leaders of the ruling party during public relations.

The first incident is from Rajgir assembly constituency, where JDU candidate and sitting MLA Kaushal Kishore had to face opposition from villagers during public relations in Pokharpur village. As soon as the MLA appealed to the people for support, the villagers started raising slogans like “Budbak MLA go back”. Some people also sarcastically took a jibe at the workers.

However, during this time some villagers also raised slogans of “Nitishkumar Zindabad”, but the atmosphere became tense for some time. The villagers allege that the MLA did not pay attention to the development of the area during his tenure.

The second incident is from Prahlad Nagar village of Nalanda assembly constituency, where former MLC Raju Yadav, who came out in support of JDU candidate Shravan Kumar, also faced opposition. The villagers raised slogans of “Chhote Mukhiya Zindabad” and JDU Murdabad” in support of Congress candidate Kaushalendra Kumar alias Chhote Mukhiya. These incidents have made it clear that this time the contest is going to be tough in Nalanda district and the public mood seems to be a challenge to the ruling coalition.
