For the convenience of railway passengers, the railway administration has extended the journey of train no. 19046/19045 Chhapra-Surat-Chhapra Tapti Ganga Express up to Thawe Junction railway station. On this occasion, in a program organized at Thawe Junction Railway Station, MP Gopalganj Dr. Alok Kumar Suman flagged off the extension of train no. 19046 Chhapra-Surat Tapti Ganga Express train till Thawe station and sent it to Surat.
On this occasion, in the inauguration ceremony, MP Dr. Alok Kumar Suman said in his presidential address that on behalf of the people of Gopalganj, I express my heartfelt gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Railway Minister Ashwani Vaishnav, because from today, the train number 19045/19046 Chapra-Surat Chapra Tapti Ganga Express is being extended to Thawe to the people of Gopalganj and today by flagging off this train, it will be sent to Surat. Will be dispatched.
He said that with the operation of Thawe-Surat train, the people of Gopalganj will now have the convenience of going to Varanasi, Vindhyachal, Ahmedabad and Surat, which will provide them a lot of convenience in education, medical and business work.
He said that Thawe Railway Junction of Gopalganj district has been developed under Amrit Bharat Station Scheme, due to which the people here are getting modern facilities.
He said that it is a matter of great happiness for the people of Gopalganj that yesterday the Government of India and the Railway Ministry have given the gift of Amrit Bharat Express train on this route to the people of Gopalganj, due to which the people of Gopalganj have got the service of direct train to Anand Vihar Terminal (Delhi) via Lucknow.
Its former member Legislative Council Rajeev Kumar expressed his gratitude towards Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and Railway Minister Ashwani Vaishnav and said that rail travel has now become quite easy for the residents of Gopalganj. Expressed gratitude to the Government of India, Government of Bihar, Railway Minister and Railway Administration for extending the journey of Chhapra-Surat-Chhapra Tapti Ganga Express up to Thawe Junction station in Gopalganj district.
Before this, while welcoming everyone, Additional Divisional Railway Manager (AAP) Rajesh Kumar Singh said in his welcome address that I heartily welcome the Honorable MP of Gopalganj, Dr. Alok Kumar Suman, who has taken out his precious time from his busy schedule and attended the function accepting our request to inaugurate the journey extension of Chhapra-Surat-Chhapra Tapti Ganga at Thave station. I also welcome Member Legislative Council Rajeev Kumar and respected public representatives present in this function.
Additional Divisional Railway Manager said that the extended train number 19046 Thawe – Surat Tapti Ganga Express, except Monday and Thursday, September 30, 2025, on the extended route, will depart from Thawe Junction at 05.40 am, leaving Gopalganj at 05.49 am, Mashrakh at 06.55 am, Chapra at 09.00 am, stopping at the scheduled stopping stations at the same time. Will reach Surat at 16.45 hrs.
In the return journey, train number 19045 Surat-Thave Tapti Ganga will depart from Surat at 10.10 am on October 01, 2025 except Tuesday and Saturday, leaving Chapra at 18.10 am, Mashrakh at 19.05 pm, Gopalganj at 20.22 pm and reaching Thawe at 20.55 pm, stopping at the scheduled stopping stations at the same time.
The coach structure of this train will remain the same.
On this occasion, Additional Divisional Railway Manager (AAP) Rajesh Kumar Singh, Assistant Divisional Commercial Manager Dinesh Kumar Singh, Pashupati Nath Mishra, Assistant Divisional Engineer Arvind Kumar Rai, Assistant Divisional Signal and Telecommunication Engineer Ashok Kumar Singh along with senior supervisors, station employees and a large number of regional public were present. The program was conducted and the vote of thanks was given by Aman Srivastava.
