Bhagalpur, 16 October (NEWS IN BIHAR). Under the direction of Senior Superintendent of Police, Bhagalpur, under the supervision of Superintendent of Police, City Bhagalpur and under the leadership of all the sub-divisional police officers, a two-day training related to the role of police in implementing the Model Code of Conduct in view of the Bihar Assembly Elections-2025 was started from Thursday in the Town Hall located in Bhagalpur.

On the first day, deputed police officers and personnel were present in various police stations and establishments of Bhagalpur district force. The training of the remaining police officers and personnel is scheduled for Friday. During this period, after the implementation of Model Code of Conduct in view of the elections, necessary guidelines were given for strict compliance of the instructions given in this regard. Necessary directions were given to keep a close watch on vehicles and vehicles for any possible mischief or criminal elements and not to leave such vehicles till elections and to take punitive action under relevant laws for carrying illegal weapons, illegal liquor and anti-social activities. Instructions were given to keep a strict vigil on the candidates, activists and organizations of such political parties, which during the elections, put pressure on any voter by giving fear or allurement to vote in favor of any party or candidate.
