
Bhagalpur, 3 October (NEWS IN BIHAR). In view of this season of festivals, intensive investigation and monitoring campaigns are being carried out by the Railway Protection Force of Malda Division to prevent illegal activities in the division area under Operation Vigilance and ensure safety of railway passengers. This campaign was guided by Manish Kumar Gupta Divisional Railway Manager Malda and A.K. Of. Kullu Divisional Safety Commissioner was operated under the supervision of Malda.
Under this campaign, during a regular check -up of train number 13409 Malda Town -Kiul Intercity Express, when the train reached Mirzachowki railway station, a suspected gray -colored bag was found by RPF staff in a simple coach. Despite interrogation, no passenger claimed the bag. The bag was taken carefully and brought to Mirzachowki RPF camp for further investigation. In intensive search, a two -tube gun (wrapped and wrapped in woolen cloth) and five live cartridges were recovered from inside the bag. RPF Post Sahibganj was immediately informed in this regard. The team reached the spot and all the necessary legal formalities were completed. The recovered weapons and cartridges were seized and handed over to GRP Sahibganj for further legal action.
