Saharsa, October 19 (NEWS IN BIHAR).

In view of the Assembly General Elections 2025, as part of the voter awareness campaign in Saharsa district, Jeevika Didis made the eve of Diwali a festival of dedication to democracy.

A grand candle march was organized by Jeevika Didis in various blocks of the district, in which they made the villagers aware of the importance of voting and gave the message of lighting the torch of democracy.

On this occasion, Jeevika Didis traveled from village to village raising inspirational slogans like “First voting, then refreshments” and “One vote, one responsibility”.

This candle-light march not only became a symbol of awareness but also showed that women are the most powerful carriers of democracy today. Didis urged the villagers to ensure 100 percent voting and strengthen democratic values ??by using their franchise.

DPM Jeevika Shlok Kumar said that this campaign run through Jeevika is being run at every block, panchayat and village organization level of the district. He said that Jeevika Didis have become the harbingers of voter awareness, who are not only ready to vote themselves but are also inspiring others to do so.

Hundreds of rural women, Jeevika didis and youth participated in the candle march.

An oath taking ceremony was also organized during the program, in which everyone took a pledge to vote in the upcoming assembly elections and inspire others too.

On this festival of lights, the torch of democracy in the land of Saharsa became brighter in the hands of Jeevika Didis. This inspiring effort of his gave the message that –

“Light a lamp, become a voter,

Strengthen democracy.”

This campaign of Jeevika Didis of Saharsa is becoming an example not only in the district but also for the entire state.
