Bhagalpur, 27 October . As per the instructions of the Central Vigilance Commission, Vigilance Awareness Week is being organized by the Vigilance Department at Kahalgaon Super Thermal Power Station of NTPC Limited from 27 October to 02 November 2025.

This week was started by lighting the lamp in Chanakya Auditorium by project head Ravindra Patel. On this occasion, Shri Patel administered the oath to the General Managers, Heads of Departments, Union and Association representatives and employees present to curb corruption, maintain honesty and transparency and work with integrity in all spheres of life.

Vigilance oath was also taken along with NTPC song. In his address, Shri Patel asked the employees to discharge their duties sincerely and make self-satisfaction the basis of life. He said that character building is the foundation of building a corruption-free nation.

On this occasion, Shouvik Barua, Additional General Manager (Vigilance) said that this year’s theme is “Vigilance: Our Shared Responsibility”. He informed about the essay, speech, painting, slogan writing, quiz and other competitions to be organized during the week and appealed for active participation from all the employees, women and school children of Deeptinagar.

During this, the message of NTPC CMD and CVO was also read. Senior officials, representatives of unions and associations and a large number of NTPC employees were present in the program.

At the end, a quiz competition was organized for the employees.
