Bhagalpur, 25 October . People are troubled by the lack of basic facilities in Gayatri Nagar Ambai of Nathnagar assembly constituency of the district.

Due to lack of roads and drains in the area, the villagers are facing a lot of problems. Villagers told that the head of their village is Ajay Rai who is contesting elections from Nathnagar Assembly this time as a candidate of Jansuraj Party. The villagers allege that whenever they demand construction of roads and drains from the head, the head tells them that the work was not done because you people did not vote for us.

Angered by this attitude, the villagers raised slogans against the chief on Saturday. People say that they are tired of applying from MP to District Magistrate. But no action has been taken till now.

The villagers also said that when our area was ignored by the MLA, MP and Mukhiya, now we too will not pay attention in the elections. We will not support anyone until roads and drains are built.
