Araria 29 October . In Narpatganj block of the district, various programs including voter awareness campaign and awareness rally on subjects like child marriage free, human trafficking free, drug free etc. were organized under the joint aegis of Jagran Kalyan Bharti Forbesganj, Just Right for Children New Delhi, District Administration Araria, District Legal Services Authority Araria, SSB 56th Corps, Home Ministry, Government of India, Bathnaha, Basmatia Police Administration, Alfaz Modern Academy Basmatia.

The program was presided over by Basmatia police station incharge Sunil Kumar. The program was conducted by Sanjay Kumar. District Legal Services Authority’s PLB Vinay Kumar Thakur and Jagran Kalyan Bharti’s DC Deepak Kumar Paswan, CSW Ankush Kumar Yadav, Academy Chairman Dr. Amudullah, Principal Mohammad Hasangir Khan and social worker Prem Sagar alias Sushil, while giving information about voting to the present people and students, said that people have full right to choose their government in a democratic system.

Under this right, one has to exercise one’s democratic right on 11th November. It was told that in view of the upcoming assembly elections, a voting awareness campaign is being run at various places in the district. In the light of the order of the Honorable Supreme Court, the District Legal Services Authority, Araria also participated enthusiastically in this program.

In the program, the awareness rally was flagged off by Basmatia High School Police Station Officer and SSB BOP in-charge and the awareness rally ended in the police station premises after taking a rally from Basmatia market. School children played an important role in this rally.
