Katihar, 25 October . Under the Bihar Assembly General Election 2025, a voter awareness campaign is being run on a large scale in the district. As per the instructions of District Election Officer-cum-District Magistrate, different types of activities were organized to make voters aware in all the 16 blocks of the district under the aegis of Sweep Treasury Katihar.

Through the District Program Officer, voter awareness campaign was conducted by taking voter oath and making rangoli at Auganwadi centers in the panchayats of Katihar Sadar, Kodha, Barari, Pranpur, Balrampur, Barsoi, Azamnagar, Manihari, Mansahi, Falka, etc. blocks of the district. Through District Project Manager, Jeevika Katihar, voter oath, rangoli, henna program and foot march were organized through Jeevika Mahila Sangathan in various panchayats of Sameli, Balrampur, Kodha, Falka, Barari etc. blocks of Katihar district.

Under the voter awareness campaign, the importance of voting rights was explained in detail. An appeal was made to ensure 100 percent voting in the second phase of Bihar Assembly General Elections 2025 to be held on November 11. It is noteworthy that the main objective of these activities is to ensure maximum participation while increasing the expected voting percentage.
