With the aim of conducting the upcoming Bihar Assembly General Elections 2025 in a free, fair and peaceful environment, a voter awareness oath taking program was organized in the Collectorate Complex, Samastipur on Saturday.

The program was organized as per the instructions of District Election Officer-cum-District Officer Roshan Kushwaha, which was led by Additional Collector Brajesh Kumar. On this occasion, all the officers and personnel present took oath to work with full dedication to make this great festival of democracy successful and to motivate more and more people to vote. He pledged that he would vote himself and inspire others to vote, so that 100 percent voting can be ensured in the district.

Nodal officer of Sweep and Media Cell Rajneesh Kumar Rai, senior officers of various branches, employees and other departmental personnel were present in the program. Everyone reiterated this pledge in one voice that they will make the election process successful with fairness, transparency and democratic values. Additional Collector Brajesh Kumar said that voting is not only a right but also a civic duty. Every voter should strengthen democracy by using his vote. He said that voter awareness campaign will be further strengthened in the district so that every citizen reaches the polling booth. The main objective of the program was to expand democratic consciousness among the public, underline the importance of voting and take concrete steps towards increasing the voter percentage. At the end of the ceremony, all the officers united and resolved to celebrate this festival of democracy as a mass movement.
