Samastipur, October 15 (NEWS IN BIHAR). With the aim of conducting the upcoming Bihar Assembly General Elections 2025 in a peaceful, fair and error-free manner, a special training session was organized for women polling officials on Wednesday at the Holi Mission Complex in Mohanpur. In this session, the second female polling officials were informed about every detail of the voting process, so that there is no mistake of any kind on the voting day.
The main focus of the training was ‘Mock Poll Process’. The trainers gave clear instructions that the mock poll should be started at 05:30 in the morning in the presence of polling agents. Even if two agents are not present by 05:45 pm, all the polling personnel should jointly start the mock poll, so that polling can start on time. Special emphasis was laid on the use of ‘Form 17C’ and ‘Register 17A’ to ensure transparency and accuracy of voting.
Officials were told that after the end of polling, they must enter the total number of votes recorded in the control unit in column number 6 of Form 17C and make its copy available to every polling agent. Also, before starting the voting, it was said that it is necessary to mention at the top of ‘Register 17A’ that –
“The CU Total button was checked by pressing and the total votes were found to be zero.”
This step will become documentary evidence of complete transparency of voting.
